GBP/USD didn't notice the long limit hit. Luckily, there was a profit on the market, so I will settle once the red resistance below is broken.

Good morning folks .

I believe GU is slowly creeping towards 1.27000. However downward movement might be restricted with the expected rate hike of BoE around the corner.
I'll be carefully shorting, as the trend is still strongly bullish.

I think you missed the reason for several prop firms offering no time limit: It is becasue they realized 1.) many customers were not meeting the goal in the time limit and 2.) they figured out that a large proportion of the traders were not trading every day because they are not full time traders due to other commitments plus cannot find sufficent trade setups during the few days of a month that they are trying to make trades on.

It also enables holding onto positions that are in floating drawdown for rather long periods until they go to profit, which simply is not possible when there are only 30 or 60 days to reach a profit target.

And the prop firms are exactly the place where retail traders can find out if they can actually survive using those low-risk conditions and sound money management.
