There is still this fvg on daily still - surely it will fill?

1.2880 is the biggest liquidity pool nearby according to CME data, smaller ones below under Fridays Asia low

A game plan for Monday would be maybe to target that Friday swinglow if we're drifting down in the morning (to say, 10 pips below) then either play the Friday range trading on the outside where possible then target 1.2880. There is the Fvg from Thursdays rise which may fill some, will look for demand in there.

Biggest challenge next week will just be trying to regain some confidence after a punishing couple of weeks. Really disconcerting when your main source of income makes you feel like you know nothing!

Dxy we have the H4 demand from the initial breakout and also the possibility of a break below the equal lows on daily

Was also reviewing Friday. There was an ordeflow entry in the morning I ignored because I was fixated on a drop given that AWR had filled the prior day. Passive buyers were lining up on 1.28 in the morning and got filled pre-NY. Every days a school day

I noticed something key on the monthly chart.
Should the dollar continue getting weak, the monthly fvg is bound to be tested as well.

We have a yearly OB in the same zone.
1.32270 is 50% fvg

Suspect its a 'W' pattern on dollar. If so the pullback leg is usually between 62-79% of the last upleg. Treasury yields are still strong. If it is that pattern, the pullback is nearly over and it should break the last weekly swing high next
We also still have that dxy gap

That fvg gap(101.37- 101.5) should hold, otherwise the lows are to be tested.

PS: The weekly chart looks ugly for the dollar bulls.
The swing low at 101.08 was broken, the recent upmove filled the volume imbalance(grey zone) and bounced off it.

Fundamentals are in line with the technicals. This could get really ugly. 95.73 is the long term target if this unfolds

Most of the time frames are reading a downside for Dxy from M30 to weekly.

Been watching these levels for a while.
Bit more info needed for me to formulate a trade.

Dxy M30 will be on my top watchlist on Monday and Tuesday.
Apparently what looks like a ChoCH is actually a sweep on liquidity into an OB. More observations are needed, interesting week ahead!

Yes, will be an interesting one for sure. Let's remember patience and wait for your A+ setups.

Just looking for 30 pip avg trades in and out seems to be a sweet spot for me. Will post the high volume levels to watch in a bit

for DXY, please watch the new h1 demand level as a potential base for a retrace. highest volume of last week on this basing
GU, 1.2789 is high volume demand. If this is overcome, look for the FVG to fill somewhat, 1.2746 looks like potential support. below that 1.2660 is high vol demand

This is real volume from futures mkt not tick

1.2832 looks like potential resistance and be aware of any liquidity sweeps above friday equal highs

Basically, if DXY 102.2-102.15 looks like supporting then, look for pullbacks on GU. IF not, then buys could be back on the table

If we range between that h1 demand and the supply you mentioned Jerimi look for consolidation/range behavior on GU

Morning I think buys initially, when dxy hits 102.2 and below (GU may be above Monday and possibly Friday highs first), then look for potential sells to Fri low
If we get to 1.2805 I'll look for buy here

looks like we bounced from current daily poc

i'll look for sells when dxy lines up on that level and highs have been taken , and order flow/Footprint agrees

1.2805 still a reasonable level to hunt a buy (below asia low)
we got a surge of volume/absorption at 1.2828

I am looking at the candles on the DXY in the 15 min to 4 hr range and thinking that it might be a bit premature to talk about the direction of the weekly....
