I say again, go look at the Monthly TF. Look at the down swing prior to the current up swing. That is 14 bars going down. Current up swing is 9 bars going up. IF it is just a retracement, then it is not unusual to retrace 50%.

Now look further to the left back to 2008 at each up swing. These run in the range of 5-20 bars. There is nothing significantly different about the current up swing compared to what you see from 2008 and onward.

You can even select some of the up bars during the current swing and examine them on H1/H4/D1. Don't be surprised if you find at least one instance of "the market went totally autonomous of time and price".

Im all for trading the trend and have been this past week. However weekly R2/S2 is a very strong resistance/support. Check it yourself, most swings fail here. Ofcourse, every so often it doesn't but thats just trading.

Another thing to note is that a high percentage of the time the first pivot level hit in a week is the pivot point, so we either drop today from weekly R2 or we drop on monday until we reach pivot. Then trend can continue. Ofcourse this may be wrong, but this is my analysis.
