I agree with you as the two are often inversely correlated, meaning that when one currency rises, the other falls.

But, there are times when they can move in the same direction.
This can happen when there are strong economic or political factors that are affecting both currencies.
The recent one was early 2020s, the DXY and GBP both rose during Covid.

Short. Retail is in serious drawdown or panicking if they should keep shorting and enduring more pain while the market already booked majority of the liquidity at the 1.26800 level and met their target. Also LO they did a run on asian range liquidity where lots of people probably went short. The market is ready to give you some money back
Was slipping off the edge but i held up.

Exactly. Same here mate. Have got this massive drawdown. Been selling since 1.25. Just so stucked up.

don’t be too hard on yourself mate. There were many factors for the launch up, as well as factors for a drop below 123 which didn’t happen. So far I’ve taken a 16k hit on this trade and will look to pull out if I see a drop below 126 in the next week. If not I will potentially stop at 20k and restart (I have a floating 40k pot which was 20 at the start of May)

....market is pretty undecided from an intraday perspective right now.....Big adr/awr week already so far so maybe more significant upside will be harder to achieve than downside/ranging? 1hr/4hr+ general uptrends still intact Time will tell.

I feel we are all thinking that volume on upside is drained out & now GU will head south, i am sure market will react 100% in opposite direction, GU will still head to 1.2860 today, that's what mkt is doing fr past few days, in 2 hrs from now GU will head north--- just my view which is not based on technical or fundamental --- it's just that market is not aligned with any technical or fundamental
