I agree, 220pips on GU is too insane but Friday is Friday. Only the time will tell. But for me, I don’t need 1.30 to take profit. 1.285 or 1.2900 is too enough for today. Hopefully we can see 1.30 next week maybe since FED paused rate hike so dollars might have hard time a bit.

I think the upward momentum was due to ECB press conference with no sign of rate pause in the future, while Powell tone was quite hawkish but not soo hawkish as Lagarde
This may close the rate difference gap, in the next few months.(not to put it at equal of FED rate, but significantly)

If you caught the up move it is time to close the swing has ended for now H1 moved into correction against H4

A lot of people shorting , imho it is stupidity and greed , what if the short swing H1 which is moving against H4 is shallow and the upswing resumes, what then? you might get lucky this time and grab a few pips.

If the MMs make an expanding correction ie B goes higher than A, shorts are stopped out, hence the reason i never take this kind of trade

I don’t see the problem with shorting wherever you want if you know and able to risk what you are actually risk.

Sounds weird from me but please be careful in that market currently. I even don't short yet. It is too weird, even for me.
As I mentioned yesterday evening, the small retrace was coming in Asia Session. But it was too little. GBP/USD currently really gets pushed to the limit. Trade safe. -Even longs are dangerous now because of massive pullback probability.
