Hope y'all made some pips today folks! Even my BTC short managed to pay a bit XD

On a more philosophical note; maybe a day may come where the herd doesn't always get slaughtered - idk though maybe price will just come straight back up and push north - but I do think the exuberance and general certainty of the 'rate hike' pause was indication enough to go short.

For the stats and Scotteyy: In general I would have closed the position right before FOMC with a 2.8 day trading loss (so almost 3 days to trade to get losses in today) but I was aware of the stats and also of what I would risk if it goes against me. In general it is a bit disturbing that in the end with some systems on the market you have to have balls,- that should not be like that because that means gamble.

But today it was so weird I couldn't resist to stay in. I really wonder what they are doing now with their billion under water trades. Was it meant to be? Was it all only on very low volume? I don't think so cause i could see how the algorythms bought every small consolidation away. May be it was to take out the retail traders who not follow the rules even if you pay a high price now of a huge billion dollar loss? We probably will never know.

Thanks to all posts today. I hope for a more calm day tomorrow. Unfortuantely I cannot trade tomorrow like I want. I think tomorrow will be more normal again - but who knows

Not to clog the thread - but can also confirm that Twee is real and is a very sweet person. Good guy; I chatted to him years ago from an old account before I quit trading for a few years for family. Couldn't ask for a better MOD IMO.

Im not usually one to rise to something like this. But, you've sat in a drawdown all day saying that the market is wrong. Then, you got lucky on a news release and act like you are the best trader on the planet. Just accept it, you gambled, it paid off.

My gu shorts locked at b/e. And waiting for hawkish conference
Both of my trades were not good today.
Lost focus with wedding and stuffs..

UJ got exicted to see TL broken and retest, on 4hr tf without consulting 1hr and 30mins tf. Missed a very good opportunity to long UJ.
GU didnt wait for 4hr close for a better entry

End of the week, time to take a break and get a life. See y'all next week, don't want to take another bad trades.
