...last 1hr close an inverted hammer seeing some upside follow-thru following retest of prev 1hr sw lo zone = pot supp zone down to Asian lo/current dly lo - this @ top of the prev 1hr sw lo zone down to y/day's last p/back lo off y/day's dly hi...now testing prev 1hr sw hi zone to asian/current dly hi = prev res = pot res. Tight asian range persists for now.

...an upside break and clear of current yrly hi - 2679 doubtless the bulls immediate aim. This 2679 is a prev minor wkly/dly/4hr sw hi zone = prev res = pot res, and is at the bottom of a prev minor mthly/wkly sw lo zone that starts @ 2675 (from Sept 2020,) = prev supp = pot sbr from Sept 2020 and extends to circa 2730 on the wkly t/f, deeper on mthly.

We have PPI later today, this have an effect on cpi hence bank rate.
If it falls, GU may go to QM, then reverse on FOMC.

as testing 2622( and eu at 0796) , short started having sl just above previous high 2625 , over 2634 ok . target 2573 , anyway next target bull 2650 areas , so may short work or not . take care

Grabbed a long at 1.2608 but I've moved to BE as I have a sneaky feeling this is going to test the DL and make an attempt on 1.2572 area.

The probability that the Fed will stop raising interest rates is theoretically good for GU. but the world knows the news and it has probably failed.
Unable to control the market, I think I will wait and see.

Hi, yeh the market is acting as though Fed will 'stick' not 'twist' this mth at least? An aperitif with the U.s PPI later (maybe last piece of the Fomc's jigsaw,?) then the 'main event.'

Yes. Yesterday's CPI data solidified the Fed's confidence in stopping rate hikes. Is it really going to stop the hiking cycle, then wait and finally cut rates?
