I see what you are saying. My point is that the banks control the prices, they are the main liquidity provider in forex, not ”some dude on the other side”. They have mathematical models to keep themselves profitable and also to protect themselves, which of course is not random. What im saying is that the market is constantly changing, everything have to be interpretated in context and with timing.

We don’t have the system of free floating currency rates like when George Soros crashed the pound, nor do we have fixed rate currencies. The system evolved to something in-between. Traders/institutions can certainly help move the market, but we might be wrong on who initiated the move and who is the seller. So it’s not as much as about people as it is about algos and an collective army of professionals and all their regulations, as well as long term interest.

We also have new rate systems that is very vulnerable to a market upset by emotions of people. Therefore protective algos and first look practice by banks. Also centralizations and takeover of smaller banks by political decisions increase the control and steering.
So i don’t entirely agree that people drive the markets, more so by the innovations of the people.

If you want to see a market that is more driven by the ”people” try penny-stocks! Even you can move some of them. However some of them also have algos controlling price which is easily detectable through the orderbook. It’s quite fun seeing a low volume stock rise 20% cause of good timing or lacking market participants.
They fulfill all the criteria of an uptrend yet no sane trader would jump into a move that isn’t supported by anything other than indicators and a few fools.

If you can trend trade successfully please share here. My philosophy is to constantly adapt and be wrong(to find the opposite), but i dont like the workload maybe i missed something in my own model.
Im always open to being wrong, but as i said penny-stocks are proably the only thing which has real-time movement driven by human participants.

karankeni, that's what I talked about in PM. Also, I use the Gann principle to establish the end of the section. I marked Wave I differently than your software b/c of his rule. W.D. Gann called this an overbalance of time and/or price (the greatest move in time and amplitude). It is a simple way to help determine whether a section is complete.

I work at a hedge fund, and have supported traders for the last 20yrs in IT. They aren't as smart as you think they are lol. Just have big enough orders to "bully" small moves here and there. I can't tell you how often I have heard confusion on the trade floor lol.

I once believed what you are saying as it is logical, is profitable and bears merit. What messed me up were the Elliotticians coming in and posting targets almost to the pip days, and sometimes weeks in advance. Someone recently posted an entry scale that showed this. So I get what you are saying, and why you are. It's just these wizardry folk keep fugging up the logic with their chart fu! Appreciate the repartee my friend.

If you are in Short position for GBPUSD There is a chance it could move down upto 1.23750
Later may fall more but should not go on that too much

Also note that it could rise upto 1.24670 and above before the fall

very entertaining. Maybe he has some points, but he seem a bit hyperbolic.
but yeah some people be spreading narratives, but i dont think this guy is any different, just using the sell method which works for our day and age.
he clearly controls the situation from start and allows no questions, which makes me think he hides something about himself and the solutions his firm offers. well i dont know maybe a professional should give him/her opinion on it than me, but i definitively experienced the push from brokers and their ”teacher” or what did ge call it? I immediately withdraw all my money when a young hot girl called me saying she used to be a professional algorhitmic trader. I asked her why she worked at customers service now if she been a successful trader at such an early age. She wanted to focus on me instead.
