Cable's target on a swing mode could rest beyond 1.3000.
Actual target: 1.30068
It is Rising 20 pips every 24 hours excluding weekends.

Hi, I never have a bias until price does. Re strategy or more accurately - tactics, my preferred are:

1. Get involved with any immediate post-data momentum.
2. Buy the 1st lo/sell the 1st hi.
3. Sell/buy the 1st pullback.

These are however dependent on the market reaction and size of the reaction, as well as some other things to do with my edge. A repeating set-up (s) may develop, or indeed they may not, like other news/data market reactions. If none develop, it is no big deal.

Just 25 pips range so far after 13 hours of market open, it's obvious the market is waiting for NFP News Release for huge fireworks.

Today's expected range is between 90 - 120 pips... 1.2450 - 1.2625 areas are mapped out for today.

Many economist are estimating an actual nfp less than estimate due to the falling numbers of the actual figures for the past few months.

Avg earning expected to be at 4.5% up from 4.4%..


While CITI bank estimated is at 200k

Goldman sachs 175k (3.4 % unemployment rate and 4.3% avg earning yy 0.3% mm) (just got it rn)

NFP could take us down before up… especially if the numbers are good. I will set TP at 12610 and SL at 12510 if it goes belly up I walk away with 10 pips if it goes to plan then 110 pips. Naturally all depends where we are nearer to the time

so far 12540 is a big barrier a break above could be useful for bears

limit order book is filling up on both sides ready for NFP

highest interest on the offer seems to be 1.2552 on spot

can go either way obviously but will look for a sell there

DXY hovering around yearly open-- will it go for the weekly swing high or is it away for a retest ? Can't tell.

we also have the big ABCD move which finished yesterday, if you put any weight on harmonics the next move is a drop

I have been teasing the idea of placing a couple of limit orders, 3pips away from the current price with tp 15 to 20 pips away at 8:29. Watched last month a spike wipe out this idea.
