There is no correlation between price direction and results of news. Your time and efforts would be better spent on some other analysis.

Mixed data usually ended up that way.
Down Up then stuck for a bit before actual direction.
Stochastic can sometimes identify fake spikes during news.

The price moves but stochastic doesn't follow, usually it's a fakeout / stophunt spike.

See resistance coming now for GBPUSD, I would suggest switching to EURGBP long now as it is undervalued for the next days. Approx. +1% from now as target move.

The correlation is that price reacts to the news, nothing to do with the magnitude of the move, the content of the news or the direction of the movement.
