Seems like GJ is currently affected a lot by pound.

You might wanna cross check some with your broker's calendar or dailyfx calendar.

Eg. Today's China PMI is listed as low impact in FF but red in my broker's schedule. And it did impact the market slightly.

...that aforementioned prev 1hr sw hi zone = prev res = pot rbs and the 38.2% of y/day's lo - current dly hi move provides the demand. 30min bullish hidden div there but no real 2hr uptrend (next higher t/f in that t/f combo,) so not highest in probability of a move to the upside above the current 'trend' hi/current dly hi....but, anything can happen!

Thank you, I did think this was the case somewhat. So even low impact news could have a large effect if the actual is drastically different to the forecast?

Yes, but relative to it's historical impact as a general rule of thumb. So for eg if last mth's NFP was +100k and the forecasts are for +150k, and it comes in @ say -20k then a big move can likely be expected, but if say the number of widgets made last mth was 100 and the forecast is 110 and it comes in @ say 200, then although there is a deviation here that will likely take the market by surprise, the market still doesn't deem it (that data) as important as say the NFP data, so the impact will likely be less relative to NFP, but maybe not relative to itself.
