...stronger than expected retail sales and higher than hoped 'core' inflation may force the Boe Mpc's hand at next meeting re another +0.25% hike? What chance a +0.5% hike? Fine line here between some growth and tipping into recession into Uk. Could be what is behind the lift-up today in this pairing?

Good example , your few pips of missing the target, then price reverse at fast speed. Thus it is either you have small profit or Brwak even,.
It can also lead to instant loss of liquidity.

The most famous form of market manipulation is spoofing.
Spoofing is the act of placing trade orders without the intent of execution in order to influence market prices.
The vast majority of all orders sent to exchanges are cancelled, which makes it difficult to distinguish spoofing from innocent trading activity.

For me I see bullish Cable. There is room for progress until ca. 1.25, because there is strong support 1.2313 which was held today and yesterday. There was no breakthrough of these two support lines. But of course the overall last trend is down so it is difficult to trade against the trade as it can occur with higher drawdowns.

3 fib cluster and Dly R1 in that prev 1hr sw hi zone where the current dly hi ran into supply. (only 1 x fib shown on chart below.) Drop to 38.2% of the thurs lo - current dly hi move.

To add on to your analysis.
I have a bullish divergence in H4 tf at 1.23085
Price did infact bounce from there.


Now the million dollar question is... How far will GU correct upwards? 1.24? 1.25?
