Ahhhh.. Ok. BIG DXY rule. Whenever price moves fast right before a number is coming out, bet on it being reversed. It is just the market makers maneuvering price so that they can get the best deal when the numbers come out. This works 95 percent of the time.

I'll add to my GU LONG positions if i can see a break of 1.245 to the upside, i think we way past the risk of GU dropping towards the 1.22s
I have a bullish bias with GU today as GU maintained a significant support zone

I see price selling off from 1.244X all the way to 1.238X then the real buying can begin.

UK CPI, PPI, RPI


UK CPI,PPI and RPI data release in few hour...............Sheesh….........
CPI forecast to drop to 8.2% y/y (from 10.1%) which, judging by Bailey's comments today looks priced-in.

PPI, with annual output and input rates expected to fall over 200bps, suggesting that inflation pressures might indeed be abating.

However, the interesting figure is core CPI which is forecast to remain at 6.2%... the battle isn't over until that starts to retreat.
Going to enjoyable day.
Way to hit my SL or going to target. I donno.

Since we have some important economic data for the UK being released not too long from now, the market makers might want to spike price far above 1.244X and then fade the move in the wake of the news release.
