US debt ceiling is the making USD weaker than GBP. This could trigger a deep recession and high unemployment rate if not properly and quickly addressed.
I expect momentum continuation from the daily bullish engulf candle as fear and uncertainty prevails.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

EU, long. I wanted to go long GBP/JPY or GBP/USD, but it looked like the market was still pushing.

Congrats!

I on the other hand had to take profit in GBP in order to increase reserve as I try to support my position in EUR after its huge drop on Friday. Don't wanna cut loss there since I think I can still squeeze a breakeven exit.

EU long gave up almost at the quotation price. I was too weak. I want you to move in London, but you can't force yourself, so if you can't do it, no Trading Day is fine today.

Other than a few journalists, does anyone really believe that the US won't get past this debt ceiling dog and pony show?
If it were a real expectation, people would be dumping US bonds and making the crisis even worse!

What do you think central banks are doing in this situation, both in the US and UK? That is what Forex is going to target. A stronger USD hurts the US economy and stock market. Similarly in the UK if the sterling pound goes up it increases the cost of exports and reduces the price of imports. Not helping the average person but that isn't what central banks focus on. I think that we are more likely to see GU go up than down. I am not sure where it will turn down!

Can short, but LO may want to fill up the H4 FVG zone ( 50 pips).
Take a bit and follow the scalping move. TP along the way, no need to greed here, as price is in accumulation phase.
