After the ABC correction was made the EW traders set the zone for the potential wave 4@ 1.2510-1.2535. The pattern is invalidated when the market closes above 1.2566. If the zone holds, the low at C/3 should be taken out. If not, at least deeper correction is in play if not the new high.

I don't think so. Herd mentality is blindly following what "everyone" else is doing. We don't actually get enough postings to constitute a herd, so this cannot be herd mentality in action. I think that what we see here is VALIDATION. There are viewers who are unsure about direction, but have decided that price is at a top area, so can start selling. They then read another post with the same conclusion, VALIDATING their decision and join the selling group. As the number of posted sellers increases, viewers that were less certain become convinced to sell as well, whether or not they actually make a post to declare it.

GU Long, there seems to be news that the dollar/yen is very divisive.

If there SEEMED to be an impact, then there was enough activity by market participants that actually CAN MAKE AN IMPACT.

If it SEEMED that there was no impact, then there was not sufficient activity by market participants that actually CAN MAKE AN IMPACT.

Did the NEWS cause the level of impact seen, or is that news event merely a smoke screen that the large market participants use when they want to make a sigificant price change?

it caused a spike, but overall not much else. If it was a Red event you’d see more movement.
