Raising the debt ceiling would be the only solution. Congress will not let the U.S. debt default, but just want to point out the benefits through this means.
Just follow the trend.

Actually, they have to coerce the government to force other special interest legislation through the government, hence the posturing.

H8 rather recently swung down, so for a bit longer interval, the bias is down. But there are many TFs below H8, so there WILL be rallies that are strong enough to give the llussion that "the market" has gone into an up trend.

I could see the USD dropping, why would GU drop if the US approval of the deficit is delayed as a result of government posturing?
All they are talking about is a delay as it will get passed in some form or another.

The W or inverse H&S is almost complete in the USDX, it will be interesting to see if this has any implications for Cable and so on.
