I've been waiting for it to break out, and the GU price is "too high" to enter long.

I actually trade my gut on demo and I tend to do really well. When I analyse the chart I tie myself in knots.

Pound Yen I went long. GU has also increased. The 4 hour chart is definitely in the up directio

I just see buy and sell setups at ever point on the chart on almost all timeframes. Have you not noticed that a buy setup on a lower timeframes is often accompanied by a sell setup on a higher timeframe? Do you give more credence to the higher or lower timeframe? We're told that the higher timeframe has more influence, but go up 1-2 more timeframes further and you'll likely have a third setup in the other direction. Also, the higher timeframe doesn't tell the lower one what to do, it's simply the SUM of the lower timeframes. A 1 hour candle simple tells you, in aggregate, what the last 12 5 minute candles did.

Given my track history, if I'm trading an uptrend, in all likelihood, I'm doing the wrong thing and it's going to reverse. However, if I reverse, that again is in all likelihood the wrong thing to do and it will continue with the trend, but if I then continue with the trend, it's probably wrong..

I think it will hit R1 and then it will go short, I have 2 long trad on at the moment to R1 tp.

The GBP/JPY 4-hour chart has rebounded cleanly from the support. The pound and yen are wide open. QQE is also rising.

Right now it's trying to see how many shorts it can shake free without triggering too many take profits, so it can trap them the other way....
