I swear I chose the wrong pair to trade today.
UJ is fcked up.
I'm getting whipsaw-ed the whole day.
Seemingly area of interest for buy, once I entered it plunge. And likewise for the opposite.
God damn it.
Market took me out then reverse, took me out then reverse.

Raising rates extracts money from the economy, which is why it works.
Lowering rates increase the money supply.
QE lowers IR and increases the money supply by the central bank force.

Better to trade one pair, Mate. UJ is a good pair to trade. Most moves are very disciplined. Though, patience is a must with UJ.

I think we see hawkish statement or at least the" No cuts this year" statement again...even though it's been said already and market still pricing in rate cuts.Is that enough to go lower?

UJ is straight down down down. I couldn't even find good entries to short.

The Fed announced a 25 basis point rate hike, in line with market expectations. The resolution statement stated that the U.S. banking industry is healthy and resilient, but many failures have dragged down growth. The Fed said "some additional policy tightening may be appropriate," removing language that continued rate hikes might be appropriate. The Federal Reserve lowered its forecast for U.S. GDP growth in 2023 to 0.4%, and is expected to increase by 0.5% in December

Well, you are 2.5 hours early and there isn't anything in here that indicates a rate increase. Sort of supporting the spike.
