Let's see if the ISM Services PMI in one hour supports the ADP datas from before. Than the rate hike of 0.25 is 99% secure and not only that: It could at least mean we see another rate hike of 0.25 percent next time. What do you think?

I dont think so.
#1 CPI is at 5.0% and If Fed hike today, we will be at 5.25%. We dont not need an Interest rate > CPI Rate to tame the CPI Rate.
#2 Rate hike today met Dec 2022 FOMC Members Peak projection of 5.2% at May 2023 FOMC meeting.
More likely we are getting a Peak.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

The FED has been saying that it can drive inflation down to 2% with higher interest rates. When inflation results from economic growth or economic stimulation, raising rates moves resources from growth etc to take the pressure off inflation. In this case, the inflation is the result of increasing the money supply. The FED hasn't done anything to reduce the money supply. So raising rates in this environment hurts the economy. It's pretty simple. Job creation is down, and unemployment is up.
As long as the current useless twits are in charge of the FED and no one is telling them to stop the rate increases, we are looking at at least the same rates and definitely not cuts. I believe you will get your 25 bp today.

Thats the problem with central bank policies. First it is lagged and second it comes with something we called the Multiplier Effect, before the CB's objective is achieved, they already went too far with their policies and by the time their policies comes in full effect, something break, because they went too far with their policies.
