the market still thinks that the FED will cut rates by year-end and if they are wrong, then the dollar is going to surge higher again

i am going to sell EUR/USD and GBP/USD rallies after the FED this week

Just to refresh our mind that after a sharp decline in the February figure triggered a Dollar sell-off.
Another below consensus reading today could see the currency weaken again.

Jolts doesn't stand alone as we have FOMC meeting tomorrow may temper any sharp losses.

JOLTS report is speaking of labor market data.
Given how much JayPow been talking about the number of job openings (relative to available workers), this measure has become a market mover.

Ahead of JOLTS, the ISM Manufacturing Employment subindex in the United States increased to 50.2 in April 2023, the highest in three months, from 46.9 in March.

In reality, there's one feed except for extreme conditions and no gaps during the week.
In a flash crash, I've seen three very different numbers, so I would guess that's the number of actual market makers to retail forex, but they're all connected.

To have a gap, it has to close.

true…although I can’t remember a blue sticker event rocking the market too much in the past… I do think however we maybe in range area until FOMC as the news rumours aren’t really concrete. I think .25 is in the cards and maybe another hike before slowing down. That could drive the USD higher. Any talks of cutting rates will be quite harmful for USD and could tease 1.3 which we’ve not seen for a long time. UK has local elections soon a poor run for sunak and his chums opens the door for lower 1.2 area such as Brains magnet 121
