my guess is cable goes to 9836 before retracing. lets see the data though.
yea, hmmm, so any comments on numbers, well i suppose US CPI could be the mover today
yup dropped straight down but held above last weeks lows. could hold there til us data i spose. nap time. hmm did i speak too soon again ! ? lol
Looking for the short, but waiting for a break of this 60/70 area.

Oh dear this is my worst trading day to date! I tried trading news today and got it wrong perfectly! Last time I gamble.

What are peoples views on the news today?

Two positions that I kept almost hit SL at BE on the news spike up, so after the decline to 9760 I closed them too and took profit. I am out of the game for today. It is very unclear to me what is next. I am seeing a nurvous price action so I guess it should decide the direction for GBP by tomorrow's London close. There are quick pips on the table at that chaos but I would prefer to wait till it forms a trend in one of the directions.

I've been trading over 12 years now and gave up news-related trading long go.

About the only way to trade the news profitabilly is to know the news in advance. Have you tried to talking to the birds in Chicago?
Yes it is last time I gamble, ive tried pre empting news and have lost both times. I won't make that mistake again.

Why not ask peoples views on news. I would have thought news results would help the overall picture for direction of cable.

If that is so, then why did it take till 1025am for it to get above 1.9793 level from 835am. Once it did breakout, it moved higher. It only pulled back 10 pips when it reach the previous 1.9793 area.
