Very nice profits. Will keep two small long positions open without TP levels just to see where it goes.
Added two short position for a scalp.

Reason:
DXY Up GU consolidate
Both External and internal structure are making consecutive HL

my bias is down for gu, eu & eurgbp ---- could spike up on news then fall so dont follow me. if i get my ass handed to me its my ass
eurgbp is swing short to low 87s probably next week

With high possibility, it could spike up
Was checking FED Nowcasting for PCE, YoY is at 4.1% while Consensus is at 5% and MoM is 0.08% (expected:0.3%)
For FED Core PCE both YoY & MoM, are near as expectation

Wouldn't that be positive USD? Higher-than-expected inflation suggests that the rates won't be cut soon at the very least. You thought that GU would rise?

Or is this just one of these times where the market simply moves where it wants?

A huge buildup in orders, the MM's may want to avoid it until they build up enough liquidity, unless they already have it,,,

The situation is tight rn.
Market priced in a rate cut, but another 25bps rate hike comes before the rate cut
Could trigger recession or another overleveraged banks could fall, before we get that Rate cut from FED - Uncertainty prevails.

Posted an amateur Elliot wave setup on US Dollar, yesterday or day before, USDX nearly hit my target, but need to close my GU shorts for only 22pips and been ranging since then- indicating the supposed to fall in GU are absorbed by high buying interest.

Just my rookie take, could be wrong.

Based on 1 hr TF, i have the same bias as you.

Currency strength past few hours
1. Yen very weak
2. USD quite bullish
3. Euro quite weak
4. GU weak however stronger than Euro
