I got in 9940, now 9790. I am waiting for today's bad data so that I can get the hell out. Usually I have a stop but this time trapped.

You should have traded wisely with a stop loss to minimize your losses. How high do you think will cable go during and after the bad US numbers today?

I expect this pig goes to 9850-70, so i get the hell out and short there.

no more long for me. sigh. feel it should down to 9000. too much bulls on it, bullst.

I totally agree with you. However, you should be prepared if the US numbers come in at better than expected.

Thansk, I set stop at 9765 and also set short there. But I think today's data should have a boost for it. That is hope, which never works.

Market is lacking enthusiasm ahead of the weekend! Euro gains evaporating! I am staying with my short cable position from 1.9770 targetting 1.9650

I think its a difficult call.

Short term trend is down
Med term is sideways
Longer term is up

Additionally we are at the bottom of the recent channel and the market only just broke below it, so it could be a fakeout.

My thought is probably play from the short side but not aggresively.

I think up side in favor off gbp , because of foxes in short positions + not so good usd news
