The central bank only influences interest rates, but the free market prices actual interest rates.
So if inflation is not lowered substantially, interest rates will go up no matter what the FED do next apart from QE intervention.
You only need to look at last year when UK interest rates spiked without any rate move from the BoE.
The point is, while it looks like the central bank is in control, its actual data that forces rates up.
If the FED went against the data, they would lose unless they started printing again.

There is no option but to raise rates and look like you are serious or lose control, like Turkey, as the recent example.

Edit:
The distance between 2 HHs are getting shorter, bearish structure sign, imo.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!
