Having gone through the same thing maybe I can help. I found that because I had some losses I was reluctant to pull the trigger on a trade UNTIL I was ABSOLUTELY sure. The thing about that is that I wasn't sure until the trade was almost over, and would often get caught in the stop hunt that dips over an area of resistance or support. I basically had to talk myself into taking trades when I saw them rather than waiting. To do so I would go to smaller time frames, and that way if I was trading an area of exhaustion it didn't necessarily mean the end because the higher time frames were still in the trend. Hope this helps.

Options analysis is cool but complex.. following one guy on this topic
The lower the put (from current price), the cheaper it is. Option premium for each strike at particular day is important thing
For 1.18 put, break even @ 1.1792 on futures quotes, let's see. Contract expiration in 15 days.

Another perspective, 1.21+ Calls in the money. Closing these contracts will cause price to fall.
Most likely tomorrow, after data update (clearing), it will show a decrease in open interest at 1.21

I didn't expect over 87.1% rate rise probability 0.25-0.5%, remember Powel talked about 0.5%, can he still deliver?

Sitting on wait-and-watch mode since yesterday. Not convinced to buy at these levels and not interested to short since its showing strength. since the fed meeting and GBP data are due today. No hurry, GBP won't runaway . Having said that it might spike to 1.23 if GBP CPI surprises on positive side. Thinking of buy stop to trade.

My Plan. GU H1
1, the technical structure shows that prices are still trending up.
2, the price retreated and was supported by the market.
3, I would wait for the indicator to cross below the horizontal level 20.
4, There is a bullish candlestick will enter to go long.
But, all this is just staying on the technical side, Fed news excluded.
