12050 area is the opening of the weeks trading which it bull dozed. I went long in the box above Fridays close, where the bears didn’t couldn’t take us below 120. It’s always a gamble but i usually enter trades 20-30 pip intervals from initial trade. A risky move as hedging can wipe out too. But with the move today there is no data that can impact just noise from the news.

121 magnet is first area of interest for me. Followed by my TP areas of 12140, 70 and 122. For all TP areas I need 121 to crack first.

One problem with ICT method, you tend to get exposed to many possible setups in one day, (fvgs ,OBs, liquidity zones) hence there is a tendency of over laveraging more often when you try revenge trading. I personally fell victim to that.

ICT concept is best applied at key levels on HTFs(4H and above)

OK. Went for an early Euro lunch today. Back to my desk, and proceed to close my yen positions.

I was short on GBPJPY, USDJPY and added another pair EURJPY exactly a month ago, started here and here.

There's no major macro data release today. It's more of a day for trade repositioning, and portfolio rebalancing, and of course, cutting down exposures.

I've closed 4 trades on GBPJPY, another 4 trades on EURJPY, and finally two positions on USDJPY. All at 12 minutes prior to NY equities market open. We don't know what market is going to do with the dollar during the US session. There're auctions for US03M and US06M later today. We'll see how the bond market reacts to SVB news, and if the yields continue to plummet across the board. If market expects Fed to remain hawkish, then yields should rise close to 5%. Otherwise, we'll continue with already deeply inversion sentiments.

I still maintain 2 active trades on EURJPY, another 8 trades on GBPJPY, and a dozen on USDJPY. Floating P/L prior to earlier close was -$475, and was now at -$580 after.

There were lines in front of 1st Republic Bank as early as Friday and today it is under regulatory control and cannot make transfers or withdrawals, so that's next. Oh, and it will be interesting to see what happens with Wells Fargo, which is officially a bit quiet, but Twitter is full of scared people whose money has disappeared from their accounts due to a "technical issue"
Well, it's the 4th largest bank in the US and the 15th largest in the world.
