Yes I hold open positions during big news, however I would not recommend it unless your trading dictates, if you can laugh off a 300 pip move against you ok but if you will lose your bank then not ok...😉🙂

Yellow colour on my chart is my measure box I've selected in yellow. On lower tf looks like a background.

You can also add colour when you photo edid, but not permanent. Have you tried using Pro Real platform, you can change everything as you wish, excellent tools and its free if you trade.
Also Mt4 platform can be used if you request. I signed for all, but can't be bothered to use pc.

this sucker isn't going anywhere
i closed all
another 20 $ to the pay day
recovered 350 $ in the last 2 days from the 600 $ loss at the start of the week
i am back to be prooftabble this year with 80 $ yearly profit

For me GBPUSD is still Bearish, on daily chart we are on a solid downtrend with a almost perfect down-trendline..
On the 1h chart i placed my fib-lvls, and the 50% FIB lvl is exactly on the old Support lvl and now it becomes Resistance

Wick Candles on the Fib and R/Lvl... only thing that scares me is the sentiment -> 60% Long / 40% Short...
More money from retail trader are on top, not on the bottom

Its exactly as my chart is looking like, with the FIB-50% and Resistance Lvl, nice wick are also created here but sadly i think its a fakeout

Looks like a little early , should at least test 11940 once again, although Asia hasn't bought dollar this week. Possible positioning higher before NFP.

12070 too far away, lots of big data could reach 120 or even 117 🤷🏽♂️

I not believe in this drop yet. I think Gu will go up before.

In my opinion. 1.1946 is the line in the sand for GU.

If we see a H4 candle close above that level and price cannot come back below within one H4 period, price will take out this week's high.

That level was where GU did the highest volume for this week (thus far) and it is SELL volume (supply).

If a H4 candle is able to close above it, the buyers have overcome sellers at their own strongest level.

If on the other hand price touches the level and cannot close above it, we will see price attempt to contest the current low of week.
