Watch the range. It will telegraph the FOMC. If we enter the week of FOMC at the top of the Dollar range (bottom of GBP/USD), dollar will probably jump (25 BP), but if the dollar is at the top of the range, then we drop the dollar (50BP). Either way the direction will start next Wednesday. My chart says .25BP sending the Dollar up.

Well, finally out. I increased my TP to 1920 and it hit bang on. I remember mentioning 1920 was the target. I also implied that the 4hr closing below 1840 was not sufficient to think price would run to 1700 without retracement. In fact the daily closed below 1840 on Tuesday and yet here we are now at 1920. Over and out!

If we break daily R3 then possibly 11950-11975 is the area I’d be happy with a close tonight.

I just got myself out of a messy and sticky situation. Unfortunately my bullish bias got the better of me and the drop caught me off guard. A break above 1.19300 could send the pair back to the 1.2000 levels. For now I am in with some shorts. I am currently down on pips booked for the week.

I closed my CADJPY short with profit and I took USDCAD short!
