In Asia, I only do scalp....max 20 pips.

In LO, different strategy, using support and resistance.

Stop loss based , I set usually, but only in LO trading, when the move is quick.

Asia, mostly, there will not be need of stop as the range is just 30 to 35 pips.

Make sure what is low or high 1hr after frankfurt open.

This helps. Watch the PA when frankfurt/Lon opens.

Since 2048 is proving to be a pretty significant roadblock...
I go SHORT @ 2044 looking for 20-50 pips
My SL hovers just above 2050

Just a suggestion, I started drawing a horizontal line at the close of the midnight candle and focusing on pre and post midnight trading. ICT suggests that this is where the algos start for the day. His idea has merits based on what I have seen for the past couple of weeks.
