Here is why the concept of overbought and oversold never really made much sense to me personally.

Take overbought on the Stochastic at level 80. Why isn't it 75 or 85? Who says it's 80? Geroge Lane who developed it 70 years ago for stocks and not Forex? Who says he's correct on that?

A Stochastic can go from overbought to oversold without there even being any bearish candles. Look through your charts and you'll find them. So if there are no bearish candles, what does oversold even mean?

A Stochastic on the 5 minute chart can go from overbought to oversold, but still be overbought on the 30 minute chart. Is it overbought or oversold?
If it goes overbought, and keeps on climbing for the next 15 candles and is now 60 pips higher than when it went overbought, was it actually overbought 15 candles ago?
