You have that buy transactions running across the series of posts. On that one I showed they a both open and closed at the same time, according to mt4 functionality.
One sell transaction appears as closed above high of the candle.
This is an additional explanation for especially the blind ones

In the ninth year, you split your trades into five positions with different scalp levels, using a 2.0 lot size.
By the tenth year, you were trading with a 2.5 lot size, focusing on short and fast trades.
In the eleventh year, you traded with a 3.0 lot size, finishing your trading day within an hour and spending the rest of the day with your family.

This progression reflects your vision to move forward and make life better by reducing the time spent in front of the charts.


Unless someone is a complete failure, the first ten years are spent on a demo account, while years ten to fifteen involve trading with a 0.03 lot size.
Unfortunately, by year twenty they died poor.
Why ? too much focus on money, not process.


Does it make a difference to your trading progress whether I'm using a demo or real account?
Does trading with real money make you believe you can be successful in trading?

Starting small is the key.
If you can handle a small account, handling a bigger account is just a matter of adding zeros at the back with the same strategy and a shorter time period.

When you focus on learning the process rather than money, trading becomes an easy task.
Please write to me and remind me again in five years about your progress in trading skills, not in terms of money but in terms of trading proficiency.

P/S Gimme time, as my GU is about to get stopped out now. Just need focus on surrendering this trade or keep fighting for short continution.

every now and then someone will complain that their buy entry is well above the bars high.....

mt4 charts are bid charts..... shorts close on the ask......

if a shorts stoploss is hit above the bars highest bid, the trade appears to close outside the bar...... it will appear as the trade closed mid air, till you add the spread..... it's accurately reflected in the price scale.....

what are the odds of that not happening on every bar......

which brings to mind a painful gbpusd learning experience......h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

what you said is totally what a full time trader will do and face

salute it. Even peoples feel you are not using real trade, but who cares? What knowledge and the idea, methology you share make members grow

Hello All,

As GU is in a negative trend and I'm expecting a short-term retracement for an entry.
My entry point is the 15M order block and the psychological level 1.2 with 18 Pips SL.

I think entry will take place within the London session, TP 72 Pips.
