Interesting, cable forcasts lowered by 100 pips, from 1.18 to 1.17 for this quarter.

Trade Economics:
The British Pound is expected to trade at 1.17 by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations.

If monthly candles has parameters
range > r
open_high > h
open_low < l

Take the next month, look at the distribution of parameters.
So if Jan r > 0.06, h > 0.038, l < 0.021
What are the possible options for February? Does it make sense to analyze this at all?

(February is already in the table with current numbers, I had to include in the list because error popped out otherwise)
For a body there is almost equal point density in {-0.043, -0.015} and {0.026, 0.046} regions.

Having placed the Feb parameters in the query, obtained these variant for March
min range 0.0548, body {-0.024, -0.047}

This piece of datasatanism research only for fun, not going to make trading decisions based on it.

Every month is unique, will refer to this post late March, probably as False

i ran a decision tree model on H1 GBDUSD historical data using :
volume, stdev, open-high, open-low, range
to predict:
close

it seems that only Range and Volume are pivital. One could leave out open-high and open-low

For 1H I also didn't find it useful in this application.
What does numbers >=1.68 mean?

Each split point in the tree is based on a value of that variabel.
The last split is on Volume.
Clearly volume is way higher than 1.68.
In this case the algorithm is performing a transformation (probably normalization) to decide on the split value.
Im using a preset decision tree model so i cant see what its doing in the background with volume. But I think its normalization.

{quote} Pat this is literaly an EXACT COPY from a presentation by James King on april 25th 2021. Nearly two years ago on youtube. this is the youtube link: https://youtu.be/sSwnOdX2gGQ Same title and chapters, down to the minute. So either you are James King or you plagiarised his podcast for a presentation, or you are a fantasist projecting an image of someone you are not. Also there are no CFA events in February: https://cfasocietysingapore.org/events/#events I dont know why you are doing this. Its quite misleading. A bit...

Wow, word by word from James King. Looks like I was right when I started to question him a week ago. I'm sure he's going to come up with some long BS reply again.
