Thanks for the great technical plots.

Previously, I looked at a similar strategy analyzed in NinjaTrader. My initial observation was that after a bar closes, there is some amount of retracement to that bar. So when a daily bar closed up, I made a sell to catch some pips of retracement. Although the reslts were quite good, when I compared it to taking the trade in the same direction as that closed daily bar, the results were much better. So, although your plot shows the symmetry between retracement and continuation, I found continuation favored.

Hello PAT,
what will you advice someone like me to do regarding my entries? My VAP levels tell me where the reversal is most likely to take place but in computing the VAP I use the closing price of candles. This means that price can overshoot to either the upside or downside before reversing.
The draw down is usually less than 35 pips for trades that will work.
Can you suggest to me an EFFECTIVE method of confirmation before making my entries?

Price sitting at the neutral zone of morning pa, should take highest position 2045 /57, 42 may not enough yet done before high impact news to have better shock absorbtion though. Still waiting top for short involvement apparently. Take care

I think that you meant to say "currencies", not "pairs", no?

And this is when pair triads can help you decide if there might be some tradable action on a different pair.
