Hello Walliam,

I am still in Singapore and finished my paper about three hours ago.
I would like to share some basic insights on how I view supply and demand in conjunction with price action, rather than as a standalone concept.

We will be looking at a real-time live example to help you better understand how the law of supply and demand works.
However, it typically takes an average trader around five years to fully understand supply and demand.

I will try to explain it in one post, but I doubt it will be possible to make anyone fully understand.
Nonetheless, I will do my best.
NOTE : I've taken out all my N3 marking, as to make the chart more clear and visible.

Currently, the market has been ranging for the past three weeks, and thus we should play a ranging setup rather than a trending setup.
It's important to note that different markets require different setups, and no single setup can satisfy every market structure.
The market will move to break both ways, and this is only the "internal structure."
Therefore, we are playing both long and short setups based on BOS with S&D setup.

The current trade is based on BOS with a long setup.
Firstly, we look at the structure, which includes a higher low, and then we look for a demand zone after the breakover structure.
Since we have the breakoff structure, we mark this on our higher timeframe chart and mark the demand zone when the price pulls back.

I have made two long N3 on RSF and demand zone on H1 TF.
Since the price is making a compression setup, it has decided to fill up the pole when the origin of price.
As long as the price does not break lower than this pole, the price is in an accumulation cycle.

When the market moves in break-up structures, you have to know the direction of the market.
If the market is going up, you have to find the higher highs and higher lows.

It's essential to understand what the market is telling you before you create your own story and look for a setup.
So, now that we understand how demand looks like, let's look at my real-time trade and illustrate how S&D looks like.

The market has been ranging, so we should continue playing this market.
The last higher low created a higher high, but the market is not changing phases yet, and we are still trading in the accumulation phase (weekly).

I don't have a lot of experience with this one but I have been watching the levels on the 4h TF and looking at the price action. perhaps wait for a pull back later when DXY reverses to the upside and then go long on G/gpy . Looking to `TP at 163-50 partial and then 165???

5 years, you reckon ? How did you arrive there ? I think I'm about 2.5 years in but I reckon after 2 years a committed person's market knowledge will plateau and the challenges/obstacles may be more psychological in nature.

after stopping me out now this bitch wants to go down..
when I close my trade early the trade then moves further in my direction
and when I follow my plan a hold the trade after moving some pips in my direction it fucking reverses.

You and Pat have sniper like entries . My entries I must be using an old Pirates musket cause they way off . I still need to learn a lot about getting the right entry and timing it right with Supply and demand.
