if you are new my kind friend here are my suggestions:

Technical analysis is indeed important as you need to know when to enter and exit the market. Now I will have people hate me but… I am a brutally honest person. How else can you learn? Many here hate me for spilling this out and ignore me , like Dave on this thread. Yet if you see my calls for the last 4 days of USD strength, you really think I called this out from looking at a 1 hour candle ? No, 80% of my analysis comes from understanding why a currency would weaken or strengthen , and that is only understood from reading a countries economic outlook. Once you find a strong economy with a strong currency, you buy this against a bearish one. In this case USD is my bullish one, and GBP is my bearish one. That is what establishes a trend.

Makes a lot of sense. Personally I only try and look at the higher time frames for bias and and enter on the lower ones . Fundamentals for me are a bit of a mystery but I'm working on it and I need to study up on this big time. Been using DXY a a lot for correlation trades when USD is concerned.

nobody is a narcissist.
we only here for one reason, make money and share knowledge.

the point is that when the money talk to one of the sides, the loser side think the winner side is narcissistic..

when a currency pair move 50pips without news within 4hrs what is the reason

Yes, that's often the case. What I'm pointing out is the ones who thought that prices is going to move in a direction based on their own "historical" point of view. They often neglect the fact that the market are not moving based on their "experience".

I ignored someone here because he's exactly what I'm describing.
