Tronis, in my opinion, fame can only motivate you for some time.
Pat is here for a long long time. There is no person who would be this dedicated to trading just because of the fame. People like being famous, but is a very bad motivator and it doesn't take long until fame starts to not matter anymore.

He was trading before with 1.80 lot size and lower, now he is trading with 2.00 or 3.00. If he is profitable and he seems he is, then this shift in lot size makes a lot of sense. Bigger balance, bigger lot size.
There is definite consistency with Pat.

How many hours has he wasted to provide useful tips?
A TON of time. Fame is definitely not the driver for him. People just cannot keep being motivated for this long just because of the fame or whatever.

Teaching? Yes, this is a very big motivator and teaching CAN actually keep the person to keep going on and stay engaged.

Was he ever fishy? Not that I remember. Never asked for anything.
If he was one of those people who was trying to sell something, he would have already tried by this time. But no.

You do not have to follow him and trade like he is.

Even if he is doing this for fame or whatever, which he isn't, does this negatively affect any of us in any way?

To tell you the truth, if I was being this engaged and wasted this much time to help others and someone calls me out for being a fraud, I would reply to you even worse trust me. That would really make me mad. So, I understand why Pat might be pissed and would like to suggest to others not to take anything personally from Pat during this times. You have to understand his position and how you would feel.

With all this being said, Tronis next time you don't like something, block the person man and move on.

One of the worst feelings ever.

Take care Tronis. Nothing against you buddy, but there are other solutions to a problem and this is not one of them.

The default TradingView RSI app has the ability to add a moving average to the RSI. (you can also do this in MT4). Add a moving average of 35 periods and identify potential entry points. I believe that you will find more probable/profitable entry points and confirmation for staying in trades longer depending on which side of the 50% line or how close to the 50% line the 35-period moving average is running. Just a thought.

Dan, if I may add, best time frames for 35-period is the 3/4 hour chart.

In this case, the MA is reflecting the movement of the RSI indicator and not the candles.
Moti is using the MACD in the 1 min time frame as one of his trade entry parameters. From looking at the MA on the RSI, based on a previous recommendation from another trader in using the RSI, I noticed that it appeared to be an earlier indicator (when the RSI and MA cross) for entries and a lagging exit indicator (based on which side of the 50% level and how close to the 50% level it follows). The 200 ma and RSI spike above and below 70 and 30 are still all important.
If you are interested check the chart.
I also added a 9-period ribbon (high, median and low) as another indicator for both entry and exits.

Credit where credit is due.
Dr Dave pointed out that the additional entry points for the RSI / 35 RSI MA crosses are below 50% for buys and above 50% for sells.
