I was scanning throught the charts of both GBP/USD and USD/JPY.
USD/JPY especially.

Hour before NYO is when the game begins. Hour before.
20% of times during Frankfurt and London Open. 80% of times after NYO or hour before.

I don't think I'll cry for that 20%.
Thing is, there is always some action after NYO, because they're all open and we all know how corrupted they all are and they are all together in this.

They probably wait for Wall Street, they make a deal where to push the price and off they go.

But they love high-impact news though. This allowes them to move the price as irrationally as possible taking all SL's and what not. However, they also provide us with more volume on that particular day and this is great. This means that a possibility we will witness Range on that particualr day is close to none. We should probably refrain playing during the news though, it's stupid. Giving the banks a chance to screw you hard.

When there is High-Impact News that is actually of high-impact like CPI or NFP, then trading European Session makes a lot of sense.
Some other High-Impact News, I will wait for that hour before NYO to place a trade.

This is basically the whole plan.

High-Impact News (NFP, CPI, Interest Rates) - Trade During FO And LO
High-Impact News, Medium Impact News - Trade One Hour Before NYO Until LC

Of course, you'll have to judge whether there is a potential to earn money even after LOC as we saw it is, lately.

This is just something I'll try to follow and what I'll do from now on.

Hi Friends,

Checked the charts after a long haul flight to New York and see the bears tried to make a run for it. For me nothing has changed, I’m still long GU into month end, nothing on the Daily and Weekly charts suggests otherwise.

At the risk of repeating myself, month-end flows is going to be volatile.

Hi SnailFX, I do naked charts, so no system. But you may want to invest in a good currency (not pair) correlation indicator for the platform you are using. When correlation for both currencies move closer to the median/0 the pair will start to range.

I have put US, not Croatia because when I created a new account with Croatia they ban that account. FX-TheWolf or TheWolf-FX can't remember. Additional username, couldn't post anything.

If they ban me again now, well.. see you in the future. If not, great! I'll continue as nothing happened.

As I said in the past. You can leave Cable Forum, but Cable Forum can't leave you. Or the opposite hahah.

I won’t be posting trading history of my main account as it has better conditions with smaller commissions and some other perks. When you have a larger account you can negotiate these conditions with your broker. Look what happened yesterday when I posted this week’s trading history. People are not interested in truth. I can tell one story from my personal experience about our mind set and how it works. It was about 20 years ago, I worked on LPG tanker as 3rd mate. One of my responsibilities was duty free ship’s store with cigarettes, alcohol, soft drinks, sweets, toothpaste etc. After first month I’ve done a stock take and I was 1 case of beer short. I thought that maybe I gave to somebody and didn’t write it down so I paid for my mistake. The beer was stored in the fridge with other food products and ship’s cook and steward also had an access. I talked with bosun about it and he said that the steward is such a nice guy and some evenings comes to TV room with beers and gives to other crew members. I was working from 8-12 on the bridge so I would not know this. I’ve checked the list and he hasn’t purchased a single beer in that month so I went down at midnight and confronted him in front of other crew members. He never admitted and become a very aggressive in words. Almost nobody believed in me as he was such a nice guy, their guy who gives beer for free and never asks anything in return. Anyway, on next morning I called him on to the bridge for a talk where he admitted, apologised and after that I was never short on beer anymore. I never told to Captain anything so this never went public but only some crew members believed in me but even with such strong evidence most of the crew didn’t believe in this because he was Their guy. This is how our mind set works and that is the reason why only a few members here in this thread don’t follow PAT and think differently than most of the crowd. This is also one of a reason why most of the people are struggling to make money in Forex and only a few are successful. It is very hard to reprogram our mind.

I can admit that I cannot win this argument with PAT and I will never know if he is as successful as he pretend to be but my suspicions is enough to avoid him. I don’t know maybe he is a great trader and just wants all the attention to himself. I will never know what his true intention is. I will never call him lazy or other names how he does to others who try to challenge him and I will never dig for every word he said like he did yesterday and I remember he done it before to other members as well. In my opinion that is a very low thing to do and that is also a reason why I will stay away from him.
