Distance that I use is simple ema6 high / ema 6 low. But it is not the point to calculate it that way. For example you can use ATR for that.

Next I'm using websockets to get trades from exchange. And then I calculate the things. I have a dashboard:

Here you can see that there is only one coin worth to trade, it is APT (don't ask me what the heck it is, I don't know )
But, the volume per minute is 273000$ and the distance is 0.2%.

Also I have created a website where you can see all that data (no need to run the python code and have a server for that).

So the initial filtering is done. You have picked what to trade.

Now you can just use simple moving averages to check the MA order and to see where the price is.

Unfortunately I can't post links here to my indicators. If you want I can give you access to it just pm me your tradingview username.

But the key is not the indicators. The key is volume and distance. If you pick correct asset to trade then you can use any indicator you like. For example MACD is good. And so on. It doesn't matter much. I just use 3-in-a-row because I don't like OHLC indicators, I have volume, so why not use it.

For example here on FF there are very good thread, Lauras made it. She it trading bounces from MA. Great working approach and very good explanation how to trade that way. So try to search for Laura's thread. You can literally use that approach to trade, but FIRST check volume and distance. It MUST BE DONE before you jump into the trade. Or you can be smashed by low volume stop hunt.

Just 24% on that drop so I aren't rushing to the top of a mountain and shouting that result out.

Piss poor actually but HEY - Crypto trading isn't currently one of my revenue streams.

I'm hoping Bitcoin Futures starts to show more volume at CME this year - then I will feel finally I have a SAFE place to park my equity without some Crypto exchange fucking with my money.

BTW. Remember I told you all that FTX is scam and why? And then "and.... it's gone".

Now look. Bybit said they are increasing tick size for BTC. It was 0.5, like 21023.05, then 21023.10, 21023.15 and so on. The step was 0.5
And now they are increasing it to 0.1!

What that mean? I think that BTC soon will be 4 digits, not 5. So the price will be < 10000$
Because mathematically the smaller the price of the asset more digits it has after dot and smaller tick size it has.

So keep an eye on crypto. It must drop hard next 6 month.

I don't understand those who criticize you, you choose your own rules of engagement if they don't like that they should seek other people/traders to talk to.
Personally i like what you write here, if we were all the same and used same strategies life would be pretty boring.

All you need is:
1. Math

Here is a little check-list. If you can't answer on all the questions then you are not ready for trading.

1. What is the difference between moving average types of indicators and oscillators?
2. What is the difference between market and limit orders?
3. What type of order stop loss order has?
4. How to calculate position margin?
5. If your entry is 100 with 1 size, how much you should add at price 150 to get average 125?

Check yourself. I'm sure 99.9% of FF gurus can't answer on most questions.

You are wrong 2 times.

1. No matter what indicators are doing. Matter that oscillators has a range, so it can be -100 or +100. But moving average can't be negative, also there is no top for it too.
2. Stops are market orders (always).

p.s. That's what I'm talking about day by day. 99% of you even don't know the basics. Your heads are full of forex fairy tales and there are no more space to real things and math. That's why all retail traders lose. You just have no chance. The casino works this way: "Hey, trader, look around there are so many free indicators, robots, videos. It is so easy to earn. Your dream can come true. You can sit on the beach with a beer, draw fancy lines and earn money. Easy. Oops, you lose? That is because you have not correct mindset. Check your trading psychology and try again!"

because there are 60 seconds in the minute, 60 minutes in the hour. Since I'm trading on 1m and lower then 240 looks for better than 200. Bwecause 200/60 = is 3.333333 and it make no big sense, but 240/60 = 4
same way I'm using 60, not 50, and 120 not 100. And small MA for me not 7 and 14, but 3 and 6 for example.

Guys and girls! I have VERY cool EA for mt5. I made it 2 years ago, spent about 5000$ for it (since I was hiring the coder).
It is very cool and even profitable. I just wonder. Do you need it? If yes, I can share it for free with you as usual
