If by "wave theory" you mean Elliott wave analysis, then no. I look at multiple TFs to see which has recently begun a new move, then go to smaller TFs to see how they build the larger TF. If you are on a small TF that has 10 swings building an up move on a larger TF, wouldn't it make sense to "smooth the view" by moving from that small TF to a bit larger TF where there are only 2 or 3 swings building that bigger TF to consider?

I see a lot of people post about all of the "noise" on TFs below H1, yet they happily overlook a 7-swing move (noisy) on H1 that is so much easier to evaluate as 3 swings on H4.

I will just wait stupidly WISELY! for the chart to change.
And that is EXACTLY why I use LAGGING indciators: when they give a signal, it is AFTER the move is underway so I am following the leader in the "correct" direction.

Price has gone south again against the m15/m30 signal apparently because of the H1 R.

Be careful of Range also. This usually happen when price Ranges. Traderview might be right!
