@Wavegarrick handled it nicely. He selected lot sizes for his multiple trades that he could hold through the 950-point swing and ended up profiting on all of his trades.

Can anybody tell me what 'scaled out' means, i added a screenshot to give context, it says scaled out by the latest trade underneath the pair?

"Scale out" in forex trading refers to a strategy of closing a portion of a trade that has become profitable, instead of exiting the entire position at once. (me used Partial TP)
The idea is to lock in some profits while leaving the remaining position open to potentially generate more profits.

The decision of how much of the position to close is based on a number of factors such as the trader's risk tolerance, market conditions, and the level of profits already achieved.

Some brokers allow you to partially close trades.
It is also possible to open progressively larger trades in the opposite direction and then once the volume from the initial trade is covered simply offset all the transactions.

Will probably take a short on EUR/JPY as soon as it shows some bearish candles on the almost reached resistance level, after the short i will buy back to catch the possible move up at the next support level, view screenshot for better context. What do you guys think?

It sounds like you have a plan, just be aware that the bulls still boss the weekly and monthly on this pair.

Powell is the grand poobah and his words carry more weight. In any event, the market will do what it wants to do independent of the content of the speech!
