...there may be some retail stops above Asian hi but that slight move above it failed to trigger them (?) Most of the retail short position stops will be above friday hi I am guessing. Bulls struggling to gain any upside traction right now.

...some nice price action scalps at extremes of this small pip range today though, - for eg look @ that 15min pinbar resulting from a test of the prev 30min sw hi zone leading to current dly hi. One side will break at some point.

I think that we typically see some ranging after a big move because the MMs are setting up positions to return to later. Similar to a mountain climber who takes a lot of supplies at the start and along the way, caches some of them to use on his return trip down. It would not be "cost effective" for him to take all of the supplies with him throughout the entire trip.

Intrinsic Market Timing. This is a model that assumes every larger swing comprises multiple swings on smaller TFs. Therefore, when a smaller TF completes the "normal" number of swings that build the larger swing, it is "time" for the larger swing to end. Sounds like voodoo. But how do you calculate it? you compare 1 min to 5 min? 5 min to 15min?
