Final post of the day, before I call it a day.

Judging from how market tries to outrun the Fed, it seems like this tug of war will continue, resulting in more range bound price actions.

I'm still retaining my outlook like the one I held onto since Dec '22, reiterated a week ago. Euro and Sterling may pop a bit higher, but ultimately, the various macro indicators, if persist, should point to a higher Euro in coming months, and a weaker Sterling.

I did close one trade on EURUSD just now, that I opened on 3 Nov '22 at 0.9797, exited at 1.0991, for +$108 after a swap fee of -$11. So, in terms of pips, +1194.

On my USDJPY trade, I closed it in small profit after Fed rate decision. I also added another short on GBPJPY at 159.47, bringing total active trades on this pair to now 3. Still hold on to Cable with floating P/L now at -$1.29k. I continued to add onto my EURGBP shorts, just for hedging.

I'll see you tomorrow for ECB and BOE.

Will see in an hour, might close USDJPY trades.. if Daily closes near 129.200 I'll leave them open.

EURUSD I'm leaving for the time being.

Closed one USDJPY trade from 1.29 at 1.29066 since there is some R here..
129.276 I'll close in half an hour probably.

Ftmo challenge status, started on Friday, the goal is for the account to be 132,000 in 30 calendar days. just gotta take your time with the profit goal . Who cares if you don’t hit it in 30 days ? They give you extensions and unlimited free retries. Just be patient!

GBPUSD did not close low enough and neither did USDJPY close high enough for me to remain bullish on USD.
For now, I'm done catching USD Bulls.

Tommorow we trade normally.

I am a noob in trading but to me it fells like less is more. When you find one thing that serves its purpose, you don't need a second thing to serve the purpose because the purpose is already served. You can also have like 10 cars but is that needed to get you from A to B?
