I always find it curious when GU and USDX trade in the same direction or UJ and USDX trade in the opposite direction. It always stops me from entering a trade.

Update to my GBPJPY and USDJPY trades, earlier. Just to get things rolling on first day of the month, I went in to close one trade from each pair, about 15 mins after ADP job numbers came out. Then, I went into to do the same again, 15 mins past the hour. GBPJPY down to 6 positions, while USDJPY down to just 2. The Manufacturing PMI figure is the lowest since May 2020, when it registered a seasonally adjusted 43.5 percent.
The economy had no time to recover from covid madness and rate hikes are just like another tsunami coming after the first one is over.

I may be late to the party. There was a discussion I saw on the topic of discipline.
Here's how I see it:
I think in this day and age, discipline is a highly sought after commodity, priced at a premium. I don't know if you can buy it on the market, or off the market, the fact that it costs so much in itself (and so long to cultivate), is enough for most people to forgo and not acquire this very quality.
I know it sounds like a cliche, but discipline is simply that very act of sticking to the plan, facing adverse price actions without flinching, and that ability to control urges, not acting like a junkie. Without self-discipline, I don't think anything else matter. Patience, emotion controls are all great, but discipline comes first.
Now, back to Cable Update.
