yes that’s why I only post directional analysis, I don’t post profits . Only charts and direction this is what FF is for not showing off. Don’t even have TE, being right about direction is all that matters.

In the daily time frame, there is a distorted inverted H&S that has formed. I am reading about smart money setups, this could easily be a setup for a push down!

I do not see the translation, my chart is referring to daily minor swings which are fully visible on H1.

The weekly green in your chart is not a trend, it is a swing

If we only knew...

Some analysts predict lows to 1.02, investors are supporting strong currencies (dollar). Check out 1985 lows.
Other analysts f.e. J P Morgan predicts GBP can be the best performing currency in 2023.
I would not be surprised, Sunak promised to cut inflation by half by the end of this year, increase rates to 5.25%. BoE and Gov is under the radar, but can they deliver?

Basically anything can happen, choose sides wise or go with the flow.

the chart is M5, why do you want to trade the weekly on M5 ?
the tradable period is H4 within the daily range and the weekly is general direction.

if you want to trade the weekly you go to a bigger TF.

H4 TF showing weekly(tradable period) within monthly range and the 3 months is the general direction.

Let's go back to your Dow photo, we all know what a trend is , the blue is the daily making HH HL swings for the up trend and LHLL swings for the downtrend, the dotted trend is 4H with the swings making the up and down trends so how can the green be the weekly trend if the green is not making HHHL or LHLL swings, the green is just and upswing and a downswing.

ok, fine, a weekly swing has daily trend, H4 trend, H1 trend, M30 trend, M15 trend, M5 trend, M1 trend, correct ?

what if we have a monthly swing ? do we get a weekly trend ?
what if we have a yearly swing ? do get a monthly trend and a weekly trend ?

ignore the labels in the first image, the fact would be 1 big wave will have multi waves under it, and that's the Fractal system, all waves move in HHHL-LHLL (small or big).

Kwt4x, first full disclosure: I only see the weekly chart when @Bones posts his analysis and daily only when @Jolita does. The 1H chart indicates that GU is at a crossroads according to the Dow Theory. At this point, we can only guess which way it will go. We can argue our point of view but the market will be the ultimate judge, soon. My chart looks messy but I didn't want to erase my intra-day analysis. Hope you see the point.

Keeping it simple this week by holding Gbpusd buys into this week that I built on Friday. I also have btc buys, usdjpy shorts loaded, for now will hold and look for more USD short opportunities. I expect more USD decline, this week could be quite nice, we have important data along with important meetings ecb, Bank of England and of course the FEDS. Happy pip hunting

If we have a monthly swing , it depends on which scale of swing you are looking at , if you are looking at a monthly minor swing the trend is there , the minor trend but we use lower timeframes to be able to see that trends thrusts and corrections in a larger scale that we can trade, so in this case the trend would be fully visible on the 4H and you would see the sets of trends up and down or corrections and impulse waves.

So fractal does not mean using different timeframes , fractal structure means that any wave is made of smaller waves on the same scale or timeframe.

Not many changes on daily to me, still H&S and hoovering around same place as previous week.
We will have better clue after bank anouncments this week.

Daily has build V pattern.
Sell if price closes under 12325.

Resistance levels:
latest high 12450
12535 (monthly Ema 20)
12600 (weekly Ema 100)

If BoE announces no more rate rises after Thursday that should bring the pound down. However a not so long recession is good for the pound.. maybe FOMC will dictate the trend
