So it's scewed and non-stationary (I'll just skip those details)

... Daily range extension is a useful technique. But taking mean+3 deviations is pointles, let's just take max value and +/- to daily open...

The larger the deviation, the wider the range it will cover. What's the point? Use 5, not 3, 100% accuracy
Are you thinking about 68-95-99.7 rule? We don't have normal distribution here. I've posted chart above.

Traders are very difficult people ro deal with. In all honesty, this is part of the reason we have such a high failure rate in this industry.
I simply suggested to Georginson that he should consider introducing a factor of safety to his range analysis. I used two simple methods to obtain a suitable value for this factor of safety. That's all.
The suggestion was for Georginson alone. Now I have been dragged into an argument with people I never quoted in my post. People who didn't seek to help him better his system before now.
Why are traders like crabs with a PHD (Pull Him Down) syndrome? Keep 20 crabs in a basket and watch what happens if anyone tries to climb out of the basket - it will be pulled back down!
We have a community of people with extremely sharp minds yet they have made it impossible for themselves to work together, create something and beat the market.
It is a big shame on us all.

I didn't quote you either. it was you who addressed me and seems to have misunderstood my post. I don't know why you got caught up in the argument.

Accurate entry point with few pips risk ( 1 to 1.5 % risk ) helps a lot in accumulating big money.

Such low risk, high reward entries possible in Asia.

To me, I look to accumulate good money ( say 0.5 to 0.7 % ) in Tokyo.

Why I say Tokyo, the price tends to retrace in Asia for the previous day NY move.

Trading sessions ( Asian, London, NY ) has helped me a lot.

Especially on Fridays, the price tend to move in one direction in asia, London in one side.

NY opposite.

So you admit you have commercial intent? Please don't bring it in here. Also, until you show full transparency in your TE, you don't have much right to criticize others' TE..because you could be guilty of the same flaws...

Your chart and the mark lines seems to calling for a sell from the 1.2407 level

This I believe will happen on Tuesday (January 31, 2023)

Remember I mentioned the two day forward thingy for FX transactions.

Friday plus two (trading) days = Tuesday

Let's see whether 1.2407 will be the HIGH for Tuesday January 31, 2023.
