In both cases, the two countries' governments claim to back their currency.

In reality absolutely nothing.

All currency is supported globally by the trading of other countries.

This is what makes the future and the BRIC so interesting.

S/R lines is the core of technical, and it is more than enough

No worries,
when i said copy, it doesn't mean straight away.
I've to draw few lines to my chart and satisfy with the structre before hitting the buy/sell button.

BTW........ speaking about gambling.....

Good trading is mostly boring.
Gambling is exciting.
Many doesn't know the difference.

Three People Inside you when you trade.
The Trader,
The Analyst and
The Gambler.
The trader is You the Analyst is what u have learned so far.
The Gambler is the Guy that you need to control When u lose or in drawdown.
The Gambler everyday Tries to Take the Steering wheel. Lock Him/her..........

In some cases , I only take the copy trade two hours after the original poster execute his/her trades.
Times when I don’t see something perfect to trade.
I just need to get away from the charts and go do something else (exercise, be with family, jogging... or sometimes smoking)
Otherwise, I'm just asking for the loss to come.

Morning all it’s Friday meaning both bulls and bears could be served up for lunch and dinner. Red sticker data later today from the US. Currently GU stuck 12380 which is acting as support for time being a break below could take us much lower. I do think a rocket over 124 has been teased so much and not yet materialised so it could be due too. Keep ya chuddies in place as this could be a ranging yo-yo today

Short answer ............. Nothing....
Long answer.......
Military and The dollah is a widely used global reserve currency, including in the oil market.
All the US reserve held by other central banks globally, and how that supports their economies.
If the US goes down, so does all other currencies holding it as a reserve and their economies.

2)What backs the Canadian Dollar ?
I guess Maple syrup ?
