Here’s my take. Earlier today after we saw 12280 it bounced back and failed to drop below 123. Fast forward a few hours we have tested 124 and it’s struggling to break it. If it does break (and it should) the break above may not be as much potentially 20-50 pips before retraction. Let’s see

once we have a level and there is a close and opening of price below or above ..we take the trade and place stop above or below the level as the case may be...
The Good thing is--- price does not stay too long in these areas for reasons best known to me....

We will see where the price will close at the end of the week, because it's almost 1 out of 1 that that price will remain the same until Fed.
I feel we will need to witness some stronger data to get out of this range. With DXY at support things are getting interesting.

First two weeks of February will definitely convince either bulls or bears. With Fed and BOE, NFP and CPI's, we could very well be witnessing the moment and definitive answer to the question of is the rally over or not, or will USD continue to depreciate (which I can't say I believe will happen but who knows).

Forecast is 25bps (Fed). There are some officials that want to go with 50bps like Bullard but whatever.
BOC has raised rates to 4.50% and the Gov said that they'll stop raising rates as of today to evaluate the effect of rates on the economy. We might see another CB's do the same very soon.

As was in history, the central banks would raise rates fairly quickly up to a certain point and then after that phase there comes the time when they stop. That time is now it seems. After stopping however, it wasn't long until recession.

The plan I have and the plan I stick to is this: wait for the 1.2650 and trigger sell order and forget about it. I won't hesitate too much if we reach those prices, believe me!
