Is there a FVG at 1.23942?

Can we consider the level as a FVG? If yes, what ought to be the "correct" action there (buy or sell)?

As I understand it, a FVG is a gap that has to be filled. Candles have to go back to that area and traverse it, then they can go up or down. It depends on where the next FVG is, how strong it is and what else is influencing price.

Me and FX have always had a topsy turvy kinda relationship. Over the years, I've learned that it's always a blessing and an investment to be a giver of the little resources I earn every now and then.
One person I cultivated a relationship with is some lady who owns a restaurant and provisions store around the corner. In fact my initial encounter with her was hostile and I swore never to buy shit from her business ever again. But over the years we bonded and she became a friend and mother to me. During the peak of pandemic lockdowns, FX hit me hard and she always had my back. I mean, I would eat at her restaurant for three square meals daily, take out food and other provisions I needed, and regardless of whether I could pay or not, she'd just give me bill per time and trust that I was keeping records. She never kept my records. She never bothered me to pay up, no matter how much debt I accumulated.
About a year or two ago, FX was really profitable to me for a long while. I could afford a new home, a Range Rover Evoque, a sports car for my mom, and some extra change in my pocket. I remembered to be a blessing to this woman, sometimes just sending her a contribution to grow her business, for no reason sometimes. If she wanted a loan, I was quick to give. Our relationship grew stronger.
Over the past year, I lost everything. Literally everything. Sometimes I can't afford even public transportation, never mind feeding!
Again, she has had my back. I never go hungry or entirely broke partly because she always had my back. I eat, drink, bath, freshen up etc. and she never keeps records of what I obtain from her business. Only I keep these records and I've done it faithfully and honestly all the while. I actually do think that she also benefits from the accumulation of debt on my part since I get to pay her in lump sum every while.
Last Wednesday, I made a rare stop (cos lately I've had a helper who just runs errands for me whilst I slug it out with my charts) and we just caught up for about an hour or two. As usual, I picked up all the supplies I needed without paying a dime.
The next day my help went to pick up my meals but the woman's daughter called me to say they had no food. Really odd. She added that her mom was rushed to hospital.

On Sunday I heard they had done a scan and discovered she was bleeding in her brain. A surgery would be required. That was reeeally scary cos I thought of Grey's Anatomy and The Good Doctor episodes that reminded me that such surgeries have no guarantees.
She was moved to another hospital that's more capable. But once there they opted to observe her for a day or two before proceeding with surgery. A huge relief. Turned out to be a good call cos she started responding to conversations later Sunday evening. Her breathing even normalized. Great news!
Yesterday I called her daughter to inform me when she'll be returning to hospital so we'd go together (she had to leave her mom's side cos she has ongoing exams at uni). We agreed to meet later in the afternoon.
As expected, her call came in later in the afternoon and I knew I had to sacrifice time from my charts. But it was no biggie cos that woman is like another mother of mine.
"Heyyyy, are you done with exams already?"
"We LOST her."
....

Friends, this isn't about GU, I know. But I just thought to pen this tribute to a wonderful woman. Can't believe the tears are rolling down my cheeks again as I type this...
I haven't been this heartbroken since forever. Sad, tragic times.
I've lost someone who's most definitely irreplaceable in my life.
I pray she finds eternal rest

QUESTION, if we are expecting for price to reach XX price today, then why don't we buy on every CONFIRMED dip from sma50 or ema10?

esp if both MA's are doing HH's and HL's + the momentum of each market open.

I often thingk something like this too Yelena. If someone is going Sell when price reaches a pre-determined price, then why not Buy it until it gets there? Why wait and watch it get there and not make money on the way up to the chosen level? There must be a reason, but I can not see it

I am risking a buy here at 2400. TP 2440. For some personal reason I am expecting another touch at the peak of the week before a drop happens.

I can’t tell you to stay strong despite what people say. I too experienced loss in the last month when my dad passed away. It hurts really hard my friend, if you need to cry do it. Material things like trading will find a place in the back ground as you grief. I used the 4 weeks of dad being in hospital and passing to keep a check on FX and the forum if anything to keep my mind active and to create a distraction.

You might want to check out a couple of the ICT (Inner Circle Trader) YouTube videos. They tend to ramble a bit but they do provide what I believe is excellent market insight and suggestions on how to trade better (more effectively and profitably)! I started with some of the early ones because they tended to be shorter!

Sorry to hear you lost your dad. I hope he is in a better place now, and I hope you heal from the loss. My best wishes also go to you @BrainBucks. I pray you find the fortitude to bear and heal from your loss.
