The old is it random or not? To me random would be flat ranging price with slight ups and downs. Perhaps the piss is being taken out of us retail by the market movers?

MNQ = micro Nasdaq covering roughly same period as DAX. The blue dashed lines are 0800 UTC and 1030 UTC.

The only real difference is the magnitude of bars at various times of the day.

Putting things in perspective: I posted that GJ trended well some days as do Cable and EU or EJ. Other days lucky to scrape ahead with a few pips. But isn't that how it is -good days and bad days with money/trade management thrown in?
So I tend to stick to dax and sp500 - some days they trend and some days you scalp with bated breath. But that's me, most here are far better traders than I, but that's life. And FVGaps still bother me

SP500 likes levels. It does not always hit exactly, that would be too easy. So it often breaks by a tick or 2 or short by same amount. jmo

And if you watch just two or three currencies then I always include the E/J and see what it is doing compared to big boys like Cable which was less trendy than E/J today.

Hi All,

A trade i took in London session. Same strategy. RN and Time as main ingredients. The other confluence(s) were PFL, Pins, Engulfer, Higher highs, divergence. Just around 15 pips gained. The price hit the RN 161.250 where my TP was set. The drop from there was quite fast. Maybe big players had stops placed there. Trade well all.
