I still prefer zones to normal lines... Zone can filter the noise.... and help to detect sl position,...

Does anyone here prefer indices to forex?
A clean trend today on DAX (bonus 110 pip win) vs the ridiculously choppy cable - which was completely untradeable to me.
It's not the first time I've found better trades on indices and wonder why they are not more popular.

I was thinking the same again. Not sure indices are any easier to trade but often when I looked at DAX in the past, the movements looked more smooth/clear
to me.

I am now trying to day trade GU for the last few years without any consistent success. At least 70-80% of the days are rather sideways full of trash moves with price going all over the places.

On top of that you get 1 minutes bars suddenly spiking hundreds of pips without even any news announcement.

There are some bigger daily ranges again for some time now, not sure why (maybe because of the war, and all these fundamental shifts we had due to inflation) but if you look at 2021/22 most days had problems making a range of 70 Pips high/low.

Overall I more and more believe trading is total bullshit lol and the only people really making any consistent money are the brokers and marketers… :-)
